Corrections Policy
"Accountability is the foundation of curated trust."
Our Commitment to Accuracy
BeFair News strives to provide the most accurate summaries and explainers based on verified public data. However, in the fast-paced world of global reporting, primary sources may update their findings, or errors may occur during our lexical synthesis process.
When an error is identified, our policy is to correct it promptly and transparently. We do not "silent-edit" factual changes; we document them.
Types of Updates
Factual Corrections
If we publish a report with an incorrect date, location, or figure, we will correct the text and add a note to the Update Log at the bottom of the article.
Source Updates
If a primary agency (e.g., Reuters, AP) issues a major update to a story we have already summarized, we will refresh our content and log the change.
Update Logs
Every article on BeFair News features an Update Log section. This timeline provides transparency into when the report was first synthesized and any subsequent refinements made by the Editorial Desk.
This ensures that readers are aware of the "freshness" of the information and any significant changes that occurred after the initial publication.
Reporting an Error
We welcome feedback from our readers. If you believe you have found a factual error in one of our curated reports, please let us know immediately.
